Quality inspectors and managers, warehouse clerks, buyers, QM key users, logistics consultants.
Prerequisites
Level 1: none. Levels 2 and 3: MM basics (stock types, movements) and, for in-process inspection, PP basics.

Chapters in this level

  1. What is QM? Inspection on arrival · A thousand watch cases arrive at SENTINEL SA. Can they be sent to the workshop? Not before quality has given its approval.
  2. The inspection cycle in five steps · Almost all inspections follow the same path.
  3. Reading the quality inspection stock · For the warehouse and for purchasing, this is where QM is most visible.
  4. The quality notification: tracing a problem · The inspection lot says whether it is good. The quality notification says what is wrong, and what is being done to fix it.
  5. First steps: processing a lot · Let us open an inspection lot as an inspector sees it.
  6. Who does what? · Quality is teamwork between several departments.
