Chapters in this level

  1. What is MM? The story of a screw · A stainless steel screw at 1.20 CHF travels through the whole company: it is requested, ordered, received, paid for and consumed. MM tracks each of these moments.
  2. Three families of information never to confuse · Everything you will see in SAP belongs to one of these three families. Telling them apart is already thinking like a consultant.
  3. The company as SAP sees it: the organizational structure · Before any transaction, SAP needs to know who is buying, for which site, and where the stock is stored.
  4. Master data: the material, the supplier, the info record · Three master records are enough for a purchase order to fill itself in almost entirely.
  5. The purchasing cycle in 7 steps · Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is the heart of MM. Click each step to see what happens.
  6. Stock: where, how much, in what state · Stock is not just a number: it has a location, a state and a value.
  7. First steps in SAP · The basic actions so you are no longer afraid of the screen.
