MODULE PS

Project management

A new engraving line, a custom-made monumental clock, a study before a launch: this work is neither a one-off purchase nor series production. These are projects, with a start, an end, a budget and a team. PS (Project System) describes them with two structures: the work breakdown structure (WBS), which says what and who pays, and the network, which says when and how. It ties purchasing, production, sales, time recorded and accounting together around the same project.

Audience
Project managers and controllers (level 1), PS, CO and MM key users (level 2), PS and CO consultants (level 3).
Prerequisites
Level 1: none. Level 2: basics of MM and CO (cost centers, internal orders). Level 3: hands-on customizing experience in a module.
Duration
4 days (1 + 1.5 + 1.5)
28 h · day-by-day schedule
